James (Jim) N. Bonaventura - Production Superintendent
In February of 2008, Jim returned to Peak as Production Superintendent after having previously worked for Peak in 2005 and 2006. He supervised Texas production and completion operations in Peak's horizontal Barnett Shale wells as well as all production and completion operations in North Dakota, Nebraska and Wyoming. Jim brings almost 50 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in most major basins in the domestic United States. He has worked for Getty Oil, Supron Energy, Coseka Resources, Quinoco Petroleum, Hallwood Energy, Pure Resources and, most recently, Williams Company E&P in the Ft. Worth Basin.
After graduating high school, Jim served as a Jet Mechanic during the Vietnam War and was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1965. Durango natives, Jim and his wife are happy to call Durango home again.

Traci Fletcher, CPLTA - Land Records Analyst
Traci has been a part of the Peak team since July 2010. Her current duties include creating and maintaining lease documents and files. She actively participates in lease curative issues, and land owner communications and relations. She also assists in the preparation of division orders and accounting interest decks. Traci has over 22 years of industry experience, previously working for Southland Royalty, Meridian Oil, Burlington Resources, Dugan Production Corp, and most recently as Land Records Manager of Red Willow Production Company. She has a very diverse background from working in operations, production reporting, gas marketing, and land records.
Traci obtained her Certification as a Professional Lease and Title Analyst in May 2010.

Barbara Hampton - Manager of Human Resources and Risk Management
Barb has been with the Peak Energy team since September 2003. She currently acts as office manager, human resources and benefits manager, and the company's primary insurance contact. Before joining Peak, she worked over 17 years for Durango Mountain Resort in both administrative and customer service capacities. She was the executive assistant to the President & CEO of Durango Mountain Resort before leaving in 2003.
Raised in Oklahoma City, Barb graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1983, majoring in finance.

Lauren Zimmerman - Regulatory and Land Analyst
Lauren began her career with Peak as the Receptionist and Land Administrative Clerk in May 2008. She was promoted to Regulatory and Land Analyst in 2010. Her primary responsibilities include interacting with all regulatory agencies, nominating volumes, bonding subsidiary assets, applying for APD's and reporting production. Lauren also works on various issues within the Land Department, assists with IT management and provides well site photography for Peak’s website, advertisements and presentations.
In April 2008, Lauren graduated with honors from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting as well as a minor in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.

Larinda Wenzel - Executive Assistant and Receptionist
Teaming up with Peak in May 2010, is Larinda Wenzel. She is the Executive Assistant to Jack Vaughn and provides company-wide administrative support mainly assisting the land department. Her background includes office management, event coordinating and small business consulting.
Larinda graduated from Dixie State College of Utah in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Communication.

Valerie Mouze – Travel Agent
Valerie has been the primary travel agent for the Peak Energy Team since January of 2000. She is the acting manager/travel agent for Crown Executive Travel providing all levels of travel needs. Valerie was the manager of locally owned Discovery Travel before joining the Peak team. Her travel experience started in Lake Tahoe, California, as the Corporate Travel Agent for Heavenly Ski Corporation.
Valerie grew up in Southern California, attending Cal State Fullerton College.
