Southwest Nebraska Oil Play (Hayes, Dundy and Hitchcock Counties, Nebraska)

In the fourth quarter of 2006, Peak acquired approximately 40,000 acres along trend with existing fields producing from the Pennsylvanian aged Lansing/Kansas City Group. 

In 2007, Peak shot 3D seismic over ~50 square miles within this leasehold, and by the end of that year had begun testing seismically defined structures through the drill bit. 

As of June 2009, Peak has drilled and tested 15 wells in this area and is using the data learned from those programs to refine the seismic and geologic modeling for further exploration and development planned in 2009.
