Peak has been successfully drilling and completing top performing wells in the Powder River Basin since 2012. Peak was the 8th largest horizontal oil producer in the Powder River Basin for 2022.

Peak Exploration & Production is a private equity funded oil and gas company focused on exploring and developing highly economic projects across the western United States. Since 2002, Peak has had highly successful projects in Texas, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Wyoming. Peak Powder River Resources, LLC, was formed in 2012 and has since drilled and completed over 102 horizontal wells in the PRB.
